What we collect
DealScout collects the minimum information required to deliver the service: the email address used at checkout, the M&A document you submit for analysis, and the context notes you provide in the onboarding form.
How we use it
Your information is used solely to generate and deliver your DealScout analysis. It is never sold, reused for unrelated marketing, or shared with third parties except where strictly required to operate the service securely.
Confidentiality
Your document is processed securely and treated with the same level of confidentiality expected from a professional transaction advisor. DealScout does not use submitted documents for model training.
Retention
Documents and analysis context are retained only for the period needed to generate and deliver your report, after which they are deleted according to our internal retention policy and legal obligations.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. DealScout operates in line with GDPR principles and will respond to reasonable privacy requests in a timely manner.
